Soldiers are well satisfied with our commanders.

We wish to soon be in Atlanta which will be the end of our journey for awhile. We are eighty-two miles from Chattanooga.

My sister in Norway, who works in Aalesund, wishes that I will make a trip to Norway, then she will go with me to America. Her wages now are thirty-nine dollars a year. I will fulfill her wish if the gold is not too high.
